About Dr. Blue

Dr. Richard Blue is a licensed practicing Psychologist in Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. He has a Diplomate in Counseling Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology and is a member of both the Georgia and American Psychological Associations. He received his B.A. in Psychology in 1968 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Services from Georgia State University in 1975. His thirty years in the field of mental health include community mental health Psychologist, Director of Psychology at Charter Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. and private practice in Atlanta since 1991. His primary interests include stress management, addictions, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, motivational issues, affective disorders and creating a positive attitude at home and in the work place. He has given presentations to over 200 businesses, organizations and schools on topics of stress management, attitude and relationship issues.
